Our ISO & CE Fully Certified Safety Solar Eclipse Glasses

Our CE Certified Safety Solar Eclipse Glasses

All of our Eclipse Glasses ('Eclipse Shades') are ABSOLUTELY SAFE FOR DIRECT SOLAR VIEWING of any Solar event – Eclipses (Total, Partial, Annular or Hybrid), sunspots or for viewing of the sun at any time.

Our glasses’s lenses are constructed of scratch resistant “Black Polymer" material with an optical density exceeding 5 and are "CE" certified to meet the transmission requirements of scale 12-16 of the European safety standard EN 169/1992. This material filters out 100% of harmful ultra-violet, 100% of harmful infra-red, and 99.999% of intense visible light, thus the intensity of the viewed sun is reduced to a one hundred thousandth.

The lenses of our glasses also meet all the following -

  • ISO 12312-2:2015  - All Requirements

  • EN 1836:2005 - 2012 Transmission Requirement

  • AS/NZS 1338.1:1992 for Eclipse filters    (Queensland Directive)

  • NASA approval
